Discovering the Parisian suburbs and revolted by prejudices and discrimination of those who live there and their children, I decided to specialize in transcultural clinic, an emerging discipline in France in the late 80s that combines anthropology and psychoanalysis better assist migrant families and their children. I have developed a way to treat children of migrants while respecting their language and stories that I developed first at Avicenne in Bobigny in the north Paris suburb and now at Maison de Solenn House adolescents Cochin Hospital.
